Should a woman pay for her own meal on a first date with a guy?

By Naijaonboard - 686 days ago

In today's world of equal this and equal that! The question to you all is this,  is it proper for a woman to pay for her own meal on a first date with a guy?

Please keep the comments coming. I want this discussion to take place here and not Facebook. We don't want this to turn into another Facebook discussion.

Can't wait for the women to comment, am sure most of them will be against paying for the meal but later they will say they want gender equality... I think the man should pay though because he is the one taking her on the date

No no no & no! I totally disagree. The first times are always in memory. After d woman pays for d first date she should b ready to pay for subsequent ones.

@imelda, the fact that you are paying shouldn't  be a reason to end  the relationship. Some guys treat their women with disrespect because they see them as an expense.

A real man should take care of the bill! Not doing so says a lot about him.

Let the truth be told.
